Once the paperwork is squared away, we take it down to the floor, clear out whatever’s still inside, haul every board and sheet of roofing, and leave the spot clean. None of that lumber or shingle can go out with the trash anyway. The one thing we won’t touch is asbestos siding, which needs a specialist.^[4]
