A lot of what people want gone isn’t junk: a solid oak dresser, a washer that still spins, three boxes of decent dishes. Donation pickup with us runs like any other haul. We come in, carry out what you point at, and load it. The difference is what happens after. Items that are still reusable go to local donation outlets when they’ll take them, and whatever can’t be donated goes for responsible disposal at licensed transfer stations. You don’t have to sort a thing first.

Donation outlets decide what they accept, not us, and that can change week to week with how much room they have. As a rule of thumb, the things that find a second home are clean, working and complete. The things that don’t tend to look like this:
If you’re not sure about a piece, leave it in the pile and let us look at it. Plenty of things that seem worn out to you are perfectly usable to the next family, and some things that look fine have a wobbly leg or a cracked drawer you’ve stopped noticing.
When an item can’t be donated, it doesn’t get left on a curb or dumped somewhere it shouldn’t be. It goes for responsible disposal at a licensed transfer station, the same as any other load.
None of this is required, but it raises the odds an item gets a second life.
